oh goodie can't wait to see us play most of Harlequins squad from last season, you think we would try and test ourseleves each season against ZP sides, as the other three provinces do.

take your point cjp but will still go to the match anyway. I guess the ZP sides aren't queueing up far a game at Ravenhill after they saw what happened to Gloucester and Leicester in the HEC over the last two years     8)

(please don't mention NEC Harlequins in response  )

Agreed and I will still be at the match as well but Connacht have Leicester coming over, while Northampton are playing Leinster and Munster. Last year Newcastle played 2 games over here. A few glamour friendlies would bring a bit of extra cash in, why not try and get a French side even.

There was a nasty rumour that we were also going to be playing Rotherham.......whoopy doo........can't understand this seeming reluctance to get the better GP sides over. Is it cost :?:

We are playing Rotherham on the 26th - described on the UR site as one of two "glamour friendlies".

I'll not share my thoughts on that load of bollo

I had to laugh when Rotherham was described as a glamour friendly.

Further to last I would like to have seen Ulster travel to Wales and play a couple of Welsh League sides. In some small way it might get over the mental block of winning in Wales and allow for tryign soem new players.

It can't be any worse than playing two 2nd rate English sides at home where for the most part we can beat much before us. Money obviously but then we have to pay the sides over so could someone not pay us to go to Wales.
