One thing I've noticed about Espana. Hard to get dacent porridge. You can get oats but they must mill them differently as they don't cook as well as ours. Mrs BM swears by the stuff. I only partake occasionally, and then only if it's made with milk and served with lashings of maple syrup.BaggyTrousers wrote:Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, not for me, I will not willingly eat gruel.big mervyn wrote:A porridge and bacon bap?UlsterNo9 wrote:I'm a porridge with bacon on french stick and lashings of real butter myself.

Porridge, honey and fresh cream. Winner every time.
Re: Scarlets trilogy
We should have a referendum on which type of breakfast is best for the country.

Re: Scarlets trilogy
My Mrs is a porridge freak, even in Spain but it's not for me, I had an unfortunate experience with creamed rice as a nipper and I don't do anything with that sort of texture or I retch. Susan has no problem with the Spanish porridge and has it most mornings with a banana cut into it. Meanwhile, I'm squeezing 4/5 oranges, all for me, and getting my Bimbo Pipas toast on and of course lashings of black coffee.big mervyn wrote:One thing I've noticed about Espana. If you haven't tried Pipas, its the tastiest loaf of bread I've I've had over there, full of seeds & nuts. Nice change from the crusty stuff.
I eat like a young stallion over there but I've lost two stone, the only thing I've cut completely is milk and don't miss it at all, of course, loads more exercise can't do any harm.

Either a soft BReakfast or no BReakfast, I voted to remain but the English morons seem to have no compunction about impoverishing the entire sterling earning world with a hard BReakfast.Dave wrote:We should have a referendum on which type of breakfast is best for the country.
