I understand that there are 2 Sparkys this season. From what I hear the selection came down to a final 3 consisting of a man from UIster, a woman from Ulster and an Englishman resident in Ulster. And the final two were the woman and the Englishman...... So IF this is accurate then a different performance from week to week is only to be expected. Why is that not surprising with Ulster Rugby ?

The new gender fluid Sparky is going to leave a lot of folks confused.

One week 'she's' four foot tall, huffing and puffing round the touchline with wide hips and pendulous breasts. The next week, 'he' appears to have lost two stone, grown a foot and a half and, judging by those press ups, is enjoying the benefits of viagra now being available over the counter.

I'm all for inclusivity, but I suspect it's only a matter of time before Sparky has to be removed during a game - either by St John's Ambulance, or the PSNI.
