These friendlies are a complete mismatch. Wasps are easing their internationals back into the team while we are just gauging which player is the least shyte in any given position.

79' TRY ULSTER! The Ulster try starts once again off a lineout maul then Shanahan releases Angus Kernohan on the narrow side to score. McPhillips adds the extra 2. (31-14).

I can just imagine Dan trying get that message across after a two years of Les Kiss:

Dan: guys, you have fight for every inch, that's non-negotiable. Any questions?
Player: what do you mean by every inch?
Dan: every inch means every inch on the field.
Player: is that every inch going up and down or side to side?
Dan: every inch going forward with the ball and every inch pushing the opposition back when they have the ball.
Player: is that just the forwards though?
Dan: no every player including the backs.
Player: how many inches altogether?
Dan: as many as it takes.
Player: home and away?
Dan: of course!
Player: will the champions cup be in centimetres?
Dan: F*£÷%$#!!!!!
Player: ok ok I think I've got it.
Dan: christ, finally...
Player: sorry, one more question..
Dan: what?
Player: won't we get sent off for fighting?

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

What is all the gurning about? Looking at the teams I'd have snapped yer hand off for 31-14. Great performance, Dan is our man, I see good times ahead............ok in 3-5 years but hey, progress is progress. I expected Wassups to score 50 minimum.

G'wan. :red:

I see Munster, Weegies, Scaaaaaalets all hammered, the fackin' Brits going much closer to full strength, big deal, they'll win nathin' that matters this season.

Overall much better than I had expected. :thumleft:

Oh aye, I'd heard that Marcell was hoping to hit somebody hard, glad to see he did. I'm assuming he survived the game?

Correctomondo young man, we will see little of our internationals for PRO14 and the 6 nation side will see interesting selections, the focus is on winning the World Cup , we will make at least a semi final in World Cup and then Joe and Nucifuckwank can feck off , Welsh to win the PRO14 English team to win Heineken Cup thing. Leinster to win Celtic Cup, Bainbridge 3 to win Foster Cup

Ever the optimist - we won the lineouts (lost the scrums), no injuries, defended well (no attack in the centre) and our internationals have yet to play. :stout:
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!
