PETA do not hope or expect the nomenclature to be changed. The boy on the radio more or less admitted that.
They are just trying to raise their own profile, and awareness of animal rights issues, and have done that rather successfully.
Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

my point is that Gillen revealing the names of the accused will not solve the social media from interfering in the legal process . The accused should have the same right of anonymity unless found guilty .( where the parties are known to each other )
