no idea how many UAFC were there, but that was the day to stand up and be counted. Blaming Logan et al for boycotting etc was an insult to UR players.

And do you find it impossible to talk without being obscene? Is it some sort of affliction? Should we get you an HIA?
49er, you cu'nt, I wasn't at the game because I'd emigrated, however, it is clear that the FIRFUC's in D4 almost shat themselves when the attendance turned out as it did. They panicked. Result. However, if you look at my posts, which of course you do, you will see I advocate supporting the team and fuc'king the regime.

As for my obscenity and constant profanity, thanks for that, delighted to know it pisses you off. However, there are only two times I use profanity, when I'm angry & when I'm not angry, so go and ride your hand you gobshite.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

As the mother always says about serious criminals - "oh I'd give them a fair trial alright, then take them out and shoot them". Dublin justice and humour. :D

Don't be dumb and play the role of the stupid Paddybastard. Everyone knows everything is more extreme "up north", that is why I've moved Considerably to the south of Limerick.
Yes there has never been anything of an extreme nature in Spain. Galoot. :D
Some extremely good things in Spain:

- regime change, just like at Ulster
- a sunny Socialist Republic
- a great Fitba team, have I ever said how much I love fitba?
- the new PM is going to exhume Franco's stinking corpse and give it to the old tyrant's relatives. Frankly, I'd shoot all descendants........... just in case.
- there is an ongoing civic duty to rid Spain of all references to the Falangists, renaming streets, removing monuments, even Rajoy's corrupt right wingers support that, just the remaining small rump of fascists bemoan the destruction of the things put in place to glorify the murderous old mono-balled swine.
- Mind you I see that down south in Andalusia weemin are being warned against going topless on the beeches, fines to be issued. I hope they will also fine rotund drunken Lionels who waddle around with their exposed fat tub of guts leading the way, I'm as gay as the next man but give me a well-presented set of baps over some fatfu'ck's gut any day of every week.
- my tarjeta de santitario should be winging it's way here shortly, ta Sr. Sanchez. :thumleft:
- get 4 Spaniards around a table and you'll get 5 different views on life.

A fine balance needs to be struck between avoiding the celebration of previous unpalatable regimes and air- brushing history.

The world cup circus threw up an interesting fact that there is a movement to re-re-rename Stalingrad. The thinking that the historical associations of the city's name are much more than the connection with Joseph.

Something in what you say BR but the Valley of the Fallen, west of Madrid is a real monument to Wanball and furthermore was constructed by forced labour by the evil old dastard.

The PP, our corrupt right wingers support the obliteration of the monuments to Franco and his ilk, then effectively all of España supports it.

A former PP treasurer was jailed for 37 years a couple of weejs ago, such was the level of corruption. The PP are much less heinous than the Falangists, but are the natural heirs to those who would have aligned with Franco.

I'll be voting enthusiastically left for the first time in my life at the next election.
