What actually does he do? Looking at our performances last season, there is zero evidence that his skills coaching or analysis is worth a shyte.

Basic skills letting us down constantly and an inability to break sides down or adapt within a game. Surprised he didn’t get the chop.

Head Analyst

Can only imagine his actual job involves more of the anal than the analyst

With added duties of “head”... must be good at something then
Does "Head Analyst" not just mean he's now into phrenology?
I'm not arguing -
I'm just explaining why I'm right

He will be busy trying to analyse the basket case Ulster Rugby then. I could save him the time and tell him there’s a few at the top who either need to wise their head or are about to lose it.

Article mentions that Dan will have a roll with Banbridge next year.I would have thought he would be better concentrating on Ulster Senior squad

He watches replays of our games, would you want to do his job? I'd reckon after doing that he crawls into a dark room and hides there until they drag him out and make him watch another.

Not taking sides because I don’t really know the guy but was the job advertised... then at least we could see if anyone more high profile applied... I mean was it a week or so back people suggested Ruan was coming back as skills coach.. if so would he have ticked any boxes.

Plus all those early morning Air America flights out to black sites in Morocco in order to view the games. Bound to take its toll.

Do we really know that Peel is crap?
How do we know?
where's the evidence?
He's been a third level coach this season, so how realistic is it to be able to categorically say whether he was a good bad or indifferent coach?
Maybe he is at least in part responsible for Cooney's great season and McPhillips excellent progress.....

I was going to start with “my fear” but have decided to get with - ONE of my fears for next year is the lack of experience in the coaching team. An experienced head like Graham Henry even for a few months may be a good thing. Or I t may not, as it may be seen by the coaches as a lack of confidence in their ability.

We’ll have a fair idea by this time next year.

As is my wont, I'll give it until Christmas to make a call on it.
All I ask is some progress, a sign of an upward trajectory.

Was there talk of Andy Farrell coming up the road for a bit?
