I think we'd rather have some Italians. Please let's have some Italians. :D
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

The one that would concern me is: Will the 'No 2 teams from the same Pro14 union' rule still apply for the 7th placed team? In other words could Ulster draw Leinster or Munster.
Don't have the link now but I'm 100% confident I read that Pro14 teams could not draw another same country team in the group stages. This does not apply to English and French teams.
That has been the case in the past. I haven't seen any confirmation/update from ERC this year.

The status of qualifying/wild-card teams has sometimes meant the draw rules vary.
FFFS BR, what makes you think anything happens in Newcastle, Switzerland, home of EPCR? I heard that unless you can speak Cantonese it's impossible to understand a word they say. There is a rumour that there will be a referendum in the Newcastle Canton or to give it it's full title"The Republic and Canton of Newcastle" (though fu'ck knows why a castle started in the 12th century should still be called Newcastle) round about 2025 to see if they will allow the EPCR to make changes to their structure.

In the meantime, as you were, appears to be the order of the day.

In the interests of 'somewhere new', I fancy Newcastle and Lyon. Although I suppose that means Llanelli as well, but I'll hardly do all 3 anyway.

It's just so unfair, I want Italians. :argue:

Why aye man, Newcastle (in Lionelland) is a reet canny toon. Mind you, it's also a shitehole. Lyon is a lovely spot, a great cathedral which I first visited when I was 15, back in the sixties - groovy man. Llanelli is beyond any dispute an utter shitehole.
