No that's Celtic. There used to be another one, but I think they died.

That's them! Famously beat your lot by a goal in a 9 goal thriller.

Heidelberg banned from Challenge cup, because Wild is their backer and also owns Stade Francais.

It wasn't fair, the Lionels said so, true fact.

NB: I'd take Tigers anytime, we usually beat them and they throw a good after party.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Welford Rd is good; Leicester not so much.

The Lionels are trying to set precedent to stop the IRFU having 4 teams

Crazy situation. There are a number of issues here. Herr Wild has been financing Heidelberg for a number of years now, but only took over Stade in May 2017. Heidelberg have been trying to make the Challenge Cup for a few years now. Perhaps a heads up to him from the Swiss Lionels between then and now about this possible issue and work out a solution etc.........

Some have asked what is the difference between this scenario and the IRFU/SRU entering multiple sides into Heineken Cup/Challenge Cup?

His 2 sides are at the opposite ends of the spectrum in the cup. One was delighted to just get in it, the other will focus on its domestic league, playing the 2nds and paying it lip service.

Totally agree Neil, might be a different matter if they were in the same competition and then at that stage you would have to do what happens with PRO14 sides and say his team's had to be segregated in the pools other than that there is no financial or possible team advantage to either of his side's

They were both in Pot 4 for the Parker Pen draw so could not have played each other.

Best away match I’ve been to. Jim Nagusa playing touch rugby in the square after the match was a laugh. I say this even though parts of the weekend are a mystery such was the amount of gin taken.
I'm fairly sure it stopped being touch rugby after midnight.

Prices in Montpelier have rise since then. Costly enough destination.
I’d forgotten about playing touch on La Comedie. Cracking night. Also have zero recollection of Jim playing with us. But heh, red wine!

I do remember the Nevin Fleg being pinned up across a doorway to an apartment and the home owner being somewhat unhappy when he tried to get out....

Regardless of which the 3 scenarios (Prem 2 & 4 in Pot 2, T14 2 & 4 in Pot 2, Pro 14 2 & 4) is in play after the mini draw, in the main draw after Pot 3 has been drawn you will have 5 groups - all with 1 T14 side, 1 Prem side and 1 Pro 14 side. Only those groups with Scarlets, Edinburgh and Glasgow will be open to Ulster.
