IRFU endorse slavery?

Post by Russ »

The FIRFU has had to retract a job advert for a 6 month unpaid internship

Did UR ever hire their unpaid person a few months back?

Because it said "Only fine fillies need apply" and someone pointed out that this was discriminatory and derogatory towards horses who were unfine.

UR didn’t appear to have advertised the IRFU job of Spirit Officer despite the fact that both Leinster and Munster open advertised the positions.. UR give it to someone already in their employment presumably after that funded position was lost..

Surely a spirit officer would be in charge of exorcisms?

In the public sector the people who do the least are paid the most. IRFU is run on same lines.

Surely in today’s secular society a professional Rugby Club wouldn’t be stupid enough to employ a Chaplain. Wouldn’t a well trained HR manager cover that role?
