Unbranded shirt...of sorts

Post by Crusoe »

I have destroyed one shirt trying to get the BOI/VF branding off it and will try acetate tomorrow. In the meantime, there is a set up in Reading who are offering something. I know they have simply stiched a red hand badge onto a plain cotton rugby shirt, but...

I can't remember from the other day who asked about this or on what thread hence the new one. Mybe we should design our own.

Santa got me one of these at Christmas. I shall wear this with pride from now on and my other three shirts will never see the light of day again.
Crusoe. Might I suggest iron on transfers to cover up the offending portions of your jersey. Better than waging chemical warfare on it.

If Trump hears chemical warfare he is liable to launch a cruise missile at the match

Just use duck tape over the logo. It's very noticeable and makes the point very clearly.
Saturday is looking like a dry warmish day, so no coat required.

Never wrestle with a pig. You end up covered in muck and the pig loves it.

A good call. I shall investigate whether I can design my own and get them made - need to be something long to cover that BOI one.

That's pretty much what the old amateur shirt was.

If UAFC produced one with this on the back, I’d buy a couple

Jackson
Ulster’s
10

I suppose I could buy the retro one from Sumosam and get it printed, but I’d prefer to give something back to UAFC.

You can put that on the back yourself - there's an option on the site that allows free print on the back

Yes, I remember now. My first game was 1984 and I have a vague recollection - there aren't heaps of photos online but you can see it there. Might order a shirt from there now, although I'll still have to think of something to put on the back.

Your old number perhaps. That is if you played in the past. Alternatively 10, with Jackson above it.

Mine's the one with the older looking crest. With the open fingers.
