ARE WE JUST GOING TO MEEKLY ACCEPT THIS?
I'm in no mood to go gentle into that good night.
24hrs hasn't even begun to take the edge off my rage.
If there's a protest organised for Saturday I'm in.
Otherwise I'll not be near the place.

Re: ARE WE JUST GOING TO MEEKLY ACCEPT THIS?
A decision is needed early in the week what is to be done and communicated far and wide. I believe there is enough anger on the URSC Facebook to harness a response. I'd be happy with a late turn up and dumping of season tickets at a predefined spot.

BoI protest. They have accepted their blood money for too long. They also seemingly had a hand in this. Hit the IRFU where it hurts.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Logan and a certain sponsor will only care if it looks bad for them image wise and whilst there are lots of symbolic things which could be done, they may well not get any media coverage and cameras may nit even pick them up (like ripping up season tickets on the pitch at the end).
For impact i would say either a boycott or mass walkout after 10 minutes.
An appropriate protest against BOI would also not go down well with them, especially if singled out among the sponsors.

For some reason I haven't been able to load the site all day.
People are talking about walking in late or walking out.
The only answer is to stay away. If you use your ticket that will be counted towards the attendance.
Think of the turnstiles as a picket line. Do not cross them

An actual picket line is not a bad idea.Blackskulllad wrote:For some reason I haven't been able to load the site all day.

Throwing tennis balls on the pitch has stopped games in wendyball.

I think that's way too subtle. The protest need to be clear and unequivocal. Just not turning up isn't going to register in the press who will cover any protest that takes place.Blackskulllad wrote:For some reason I haven't been able to load the site all day.

Throwing spent season tickets on the pitch is a ridiculous and futile idea.
Duck tape over the BofI Logo is too small as a standalone gesture, but is a good additional step.
We need someone to come up with a clinker of an idea.
Re: ARE WE JUST GOING TO MEEKLY ACCEPT THIS?
What about cutting a BoI logo off a shirt and throwing it on the pitch or piling them up somewhere?

Perhaps any protest could have the B of I HQ on Adelaide St/Donegall Sq South as a staring point. As it’s a Saturday game would there be enough fans travelling from the city centre to make this worthwhile?Snipe Watson wrote:I think that's way too subtle. Or how about everyone heads to Rifle Park to watch an absolute clinker of a UBL Division 1B Play-off Semi-Final between Banbridge and Ballynahinch. Vote with your feet (whilst still getting your rugby fix!!) and head down the A1, leave Mr Logan with his pick of seats for himself and his BoI buddies. Oh and the feminazis, daren’t forget them.

Not much point in protesting outside a closed bank.richardt84 wrote:Perhaps any protest could have the B of I HQ on Adelaide St/Donegall Sq South as a staring point. Mass pitch invasion on 10 minutes followed by walking out?
Climb up onto the top of your house and start screaming: 'stand up for the Ulstermen, stand.......'
