A few years back unfortunately, so no. But from the early days of email being available to the staff, pornographic clips were being circulated.

Me too. We are a very pale shadow of a once proud province. We've lost what we once were. Tragic.

To show the contempt of the fans UR have not even put the press release onto their face book page as they know the backlash that it will receive and publicly humiliate them, best protest is just that , NO ONE should go to the game, it’s on television so why not go to a club, bar , front room and watch it, let them see what their future is, I do sympathise with the players And I know that they are hurting BUT they have to show some sort of solidarity, they are hardly going to sack them all, players should make some kind of gesture, Rory was happy to go to court to defend them, as club captain he should encourage some sort of statement, oral or action.

Can we have one thread, BOYCOTT GLASGOW GAME. It’s too late to save the players but let’s let them know we care.

I have always maintained that Logan is a credibility issue since he got the job. He is a fraud and now we can see what a person he really is. A man with no real conviction, a man who would have difficulty lead a pack of brownies through Crawfordsburn County Park, #timetogo #notmyceo #spoofer

I agree, will someone please start a BOYCOTT THE GLASGOW GAME thread. I no longer have, or can see that icon.

I think an empty stadium is a good starting point and if numbers want to protest outside, I’m up for it.

The feminist rent-a-mob that is Belfast Feminist Network held a protest tonight outside the Kingspan rugby stadium in Belfast.

They were addressed by Kellie Turtle, their chief rabble- rouser.

The protest was organised because the feminists are angry at the “Not Guilty” verdict handed down in the rape trial of Paddy Jackson, Stuart Olding and two others.

I have made it clear in a recent post on our blog that whilst the players were cleared of rape, they and their accuser engaged in acts of debauchery.

She is disgusting and they are disgusting.

The feminist hordes who protested tonight do not want the spotlight on the behaviour of the woman, because she portrayed herself as a victim (instead of the willing participant in an orgy that she was) and her feminist sisters will continue to play the “victim card” on her behalf.

The theme of tonight’s protest was “Stamp out misogyny.”

They employ this slogan because it distracts attention away from the immoral young woman at the centre of this case and places it firmly on the rugby players only.

The rugby players did make vile comments about women on social media shortly after their night of debauchery with the 19 year old woman (their accuser) and for that I condemn them, but to hear these feminists, one would think that they never engaged in dirty talk.

They most certainly do!

One of the placards at their protest tonight had vulgar wording.

Feminists love to talk dirty. Think of the feminist play by Eve Ensler called The V….. Monologues. Nothing is taboo or off-limits to these filthy women.

Think of their behaviour at their hen nights.

Yet they feign disgust at the comments made by the rugby players, which were disgusting to be sure, but feminists are not in any position to criticise. It is a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

There has always been coarse and vulgar men and women, but in times past they were the exception.

Today, because of the sexual revolution and feminism, the majority of men and women are coarse and vulgar.

In days gone by, most women behaved like ladies and raised the tone of society and men adjusted their behaviour accordingly and behaved like gentlemen, and the dregs of society were easier to spot.

Not so today. Society is drowning in vulgarity and perversion, and feminism and sexual revolutionaries are largely to blame.

They said there were 250 of them, media outlets have picked this up without questioning it. If there were 80 that would be an over estimate. Could do with resitting their GCSE maths.

Neil Best:
Betrayal is the only truth that sticks

After Ulster’s stay of execution win over Ospreys, the Ravenhill mood should have been jubilant at the whistle, but it wasn’t. Rumours had already begun to circulate as to the outcome of the IRFU led review into Ulster players Paddy Jackson, Stuart Olding and Craig Gilroy -and the mood music was far from celebratory.

At the heart of this whole situation has been a sense of betrayal – firstly by the players of the values of their families and the club, and now by the club of young men, products of their youth system – now sacrificed – not seen to be on the altar or morals and ethics but perceived to be on the altar of sponsorship and money.

There is no easy fix for Ulster Rugby and their fans. Routinely, Ulster supporters have learnt from Dublin based journalists the latest and breaking news about their Belfast based club – whether it be the arrival of Les Kiss, the departure of Ruan Pienaar or the current shortlist to replace Jonno Gibbes – the news emanates from Dublin – showing clearly where decision making power lies.

I’ve previously said that Ulster must learn to steer their own ship and until they do they won’t be sufficiently selfish to navigate a path to club success.

Some fans have sympathy for operations director Bryn Cunningham – an ex-player who is responsible for all off-field aspects of the club – and even some for the CEO Shane Logan who has an unerring knack of not making himself available at times of crisis. Indeed a similar number were ready to forgive the failings of Les Kiss – for no reason other than on the whole the fans are a good bunch who don’t feel comfortable with anything that could be seen as scapegoating.

That’s why the Jackson and Olding departures are so problematic for the club, the fans who have put up with Logan, Cunningham and Kiss over the past couple of seasons – even defended them – have done so because they abhor the very type scapegoating that they feel their club are now undertaking with their own players.

No education or re-training has been offered, no prospect of rehabilitation, not even a gesture rejected. This has provided the backdrop to a growing degree of sympathy for the players inside and outside the club. But Jackson and Olding have talent and remain highly employable and like many others before them they will move into exile. Success in their new environment will provide a weekly reminder of all that is wrong with Ulster Rugby – no strategy or plan, inconsistency on and off-field and growing disconnect with the fans – all the while subject to direction from Dublin who historically retained other high-profile players amongst scandals of sexual conduct not without parallels.

And a club that isn’t seen to listen to its fans nor accountable to them will fail. I honestly can’t remember a time when Ulster Rugby have been so at odds with so many of their supporters. Whatever Ulster salvage from this season – without substantial change at the top – Ulster will continue to fail.
