The free game makes yesterday's attendance even worse when you think about it. It can't be used for interpros or European games so Scarlets would be one of the bigger draws from the remainder.

Baggy the maximum discount of 70 % was only achievable by those who had been a tenant for 35 years .
And of course you are living in social housing in Spain and also lived in Social Housing on the Costa North Down .
in Spain social housing is 2% the Uk 24 Private in Spain 16 % --UK 10%
The fact is in the 1990
only Germany and Holland had great % of social Housing -Germany-26% Holland 36 %_-private Germany 36 Holland 17%
( I see no reason to believe much has changed )
Student accommodation is only for the brave as is usually furnished .
Students are not the most conscientious in looking after the property of others
rather too fond of parties - drink etc on occasions -- I don't wish to say all are
bad tenants -- but when letting the landlord has no guarantee of what a tenant is like and it only takes one tenant to trash a house once .
Baggy I have experienced the Housing as a social tenant , owner occupier , social landlord , and private landlord -
Yes some make money but housing is not a joy ride for anybody -- tenant -owner occupier or landlord --social or private -- there is always some assh-le will sh-t in your bowl and destroy your happiness .
But sale of public housing was an is an exercise in social engineering an attempt to de-ghetto the ghetto not a money raising exercise .
Despite the fact that most of loans on many of the houses sold had been repaid
NB the loans borrowed to build the social housing in NI were at extremely high interest rates of mid 70s and 80s .
Social housing build has never been funded by Taxes but Government borrowings .
The simplistic socialist drivel your expounding has no basis in fact or potential because it neglects to take into account human nature .
Everything would be possible if it wasn't for people .

Found the email and not amused.big mervyn wrote:I got one for yesterday's game. Simple enough. Just followed the link on the email and it was straightforward. Printed off the tkt and no service charge. Not sure how it will work for seated areas though.Rooster wrote:Anyone know how you get the "free" additional ticket to make up for the lost match ?
Despite having Grand Stand seats all that is available on the offer are the terraces plus some in Memorial stand and Family stand mostly in front of the feckin band and that is despite 396 tickets available in the Grandstand

Yep. We’ve been stroked .
Shell out the same amount for a season ticket (seated) for one game per season less and you’d expect the extra ticket to be for a seat in the same stand, not a £20.00 cheapie on the prom.
I can’t ask a friend, or family member (unless it’s the Limivady wans) to stand amongst the common people on the prom...Heavens Forefend.

Sale of public housing wasn't a money raising exercise, more of a money saving exercise. Government wanted to shift the burden of maintaining the public sector housing stock from the public purse to the private sector. Quickest way of doing this is to get tenants to buy the properties they currently rent. In recent years we've seen this operate on a bigger scale through the large scale stock transfer of council houses to housing associations, so that private sector money can be used to carry out the improvement and ongoing maintenance of these houses.

I've wasted more than enough time on your ill-considered bullshite, your made up, utterly wrong statistics and your half-baked opinions. Your notion that Mrs Thatcher did anything that was not "bottom line" compliant is incredibly stupid, she sold everything including the kitchen sink, the very notion that it was not a capital positive scheme is risible. So stick the social engineering up your fundament, whether from sale proceeds or savings on, maintenance, it was all about money, the Thatcher way.rumncoke wrote:Baggy the maximum discount of 70 % was only achievable by those who had been a tenant for 35 years .

Furthermore, the UK and the Southeast, in particular, has a huge housing problem, started by Thatcher and not really helped by any succeeding government who have all failed to ensure affordable housing has been built, excess demand over availability continues to price property out of the reach of large numbers and local government is sinking under the weight of providing temporary accommodation.
More bullshite is your whinging on behalf of private landlords, admittedly it sounds right, but then we know that many private landlords have evicted good tenants on lower rentals so they can capitalise ,either on the above situation, sucking huge funds from local government to specialise in temporary accommodation at ridiculous rates in utter shiteholes which are not fit for habitation, or by selling off their substandard housing stock to developers who have little or no interest in affordable housing,
just huge returns. So shove that up your hole ould hand.
I shall not be fielding any more tosh from you on this rugby thread, so in parting may I just add:

Nice way to treat their premium fans. Us terrace dwellers get a tkt of equivalent value and the opportunity to stand together, while the prawn sandwich brigade in the Grandstand get shafted.Tender wrote:Yep. We’ve been stroked .

any one who paid full price for an "additional" ticket on this is a foolYOUR TICKET INCUDES
Membership card for access to Kingspan Stadium
Entry to the pre-season friendly in August
Entry to ten home games in the Guinness PRO14 tournament (excludes potential play offs)
Entry to three home European pool matches
1 additional complimentary ticket for a PRO14 game of your choice (excludes inter-provincial)

The layman would read ticket as same as ticket I am currently purchasing
So a layman on the terrace would assume terrace
Layman in Grandstand would assume Grandstand
UR leaving themselves open to a PR disaster here again

Anyway on the end stand seats they only have about 30 at each end reserved for the additional ticket
