Pre-season friendly!

Post by Deraless »

Gloucester on Sat 18th August in a double header (has to be a joke in there) with the As. UR definitely have the tea leaves out for this one and are using Marcell to sell it already!

"For Ulster supporters, it will be a first opportunity to see new signings in action, while Marcell Coetzee is also expected to make his return to playing action in pre-season."

Only to get crocked again. As you can tell my optimism meter is reading low at the minute. :(

They have no shame. I wonder is it better to use him to sell season tickets than to tell him that his knee is fecked? I was talking to an expert in orthopaedics who told me (not speaking about a specific case) that the first surgery represents the best chance for a full recovery. Any follow up operations are more about damage limitation.

He doesn't work in the NHS (thankfully).
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Seems silly to have Marcel make his annual appearance in a friendly.

5.30 pm kick off.

Plenty of time for fans of watching people punching each other in the head to make the Frampton fight at Windsor Park that evening.
