Kingshaggers Rugby Values for 2018

Post by Cornerfleg »

Slight addendum to our core values for the rest of the season - need to keep up to speed when getting preached at.

- We are passionate in our support of the Ulster team

- We are silent during kicks at goal by both teams

- We respect the match officials' decisions

- We drink responsibly

NO MORE THAN - 8 tins of Carlsberg, 4 pints of Guinness, 2 Gin & Tonics, 5 vodka lemonades, 3 shots of Tequila and Sambuca - EACH

- We are mindful of our language, especially when there are children and young people near us

- We do not tolerate sectarian, homophobic or derogatory language

- We respect the opposition players, supporters, management and officials.

Is that an amendment to our 5th Value or a restating of Value 2?

That drinks menu looks very like a pre match day session for any fan on tour, in fact it might even be a bit tame on some occasions.

HWM does that in a bucket to get warmed up for a Friday night out!

Explains why JP has had a feckin head ache for 8 months!

HWM hasn't had a hangover this season ... he's a machine I tell you ... rumour has it he's surviving on George Bests old liver!

I'd just like to know if that's the UR line for responsible drinking - I'm not judging here ... I'd like to hear if the UR "responsible" Value is closer to the 3-4 units a day recommendation by the NHS than it is to ... say the moon!

Responsible means don't spill or leave any part filled glasses
