Timoney is a natural openside. Jono not as clueless as Lester it seems.

Once he starts making regular turnovers I'd agree.

Mason was a kicker; not a fullback. In the Dick Spring mold.
I say old bean, I do know what you mean, but young people may think the former Tan Nasty of Eire Mr Spring was a decent kicker in Mason's class.
To be fair, he had a good boot on him. Back in the days when Ward/Campbell struggled with anything more than 30 yards out. He could at least make the distance from the 10m line.
Can I come out from behind the sofa yet?

I do believe though he has it in him, that's a smart cookie of a player we've got there and if he can figure it out then we'll be quids in with a proper successor to Henry (which we really are sorely missing, beyond our ball carrying issues).

Timoney certainly isn’t big enough to play eight so should be given an opportunity at 7. Chad wasn’t exactly great there when he started but developed with game time.

Dalton must be gash if he’s been overlooked for Sean Diesel.

Good to see brokencock with the captaincy again, thought he did ok.

Dalton wasn't great for under 20's in the first match as a 6, he is a young guy and Edinburgh will be a very very physical game.
