McPhillips could be a good enough 10. Nelson isn’t a 10 and should never have been shoe-horned in there.
Speaking to a lad who plays cricket alongside Lyttle and he thinks Lyttle’s speed is his best asset. I asked if he had a good Rugby brain and he replied ‘ his speed is his best asset ‘ . Still, every team needs a flying machine.

I am told he is an injury waiting to happen and that might be his biggest hurdle..

Cockers, everyone is just an injury waiting to happen.

Except for the Daves. They seem to be indestructible.

He picks up injuries too easy... as such he may be blighted by being unavailable for too long to get a solid run out of games that he would need to really establish himself.. he may still be growing as he is still young has been made bulk up but let’s see... not wishing him ill you understand but h could be too injury prone..

He cannot complete a game without picking up an injury...

Is McPhillips not just keeping the jersey warm until Lowry gets himself fit again?

Well you would hope he doesn't prove too much of a hindrance.

How matches has Lowry played this season ?

A good number for Banbridge before he was injured a month or so ago.

Was he not injured earlier in season as well ?

There has been many a wonderkid hyped up in the past who has never made it. Also players like Sexton and Steenson deemed not good enough at an early age. Good to have both these young players on the books. How good would it be to have a squad with more than one decent player in a key position. That's the dream.

Lyttle will never be an International he is too small and injury prone but he might survive Pro14 .

Shane Williams was as hard as nails and survived as an international unfortunately Lyttle has a the guts in the world in a fragile frame and at the moment Ireland have a number of wings who would make the team before him and each year brings another threat to that dream for him .
