Respect to Christian Lealiifano

Christian Lealiifano has been massive for us in our hour of need. A solid 10, but a world class rugby player and by all accounts a class act in the dressing room.
I don't care what he was paid for his half season. He was great value, tough as flamin nails and bought into Ulster boots n all.

A class act and no mistake. He got a great reception from the east terrace when he came over after the match. Sad to see him go.

I had a lump in my throat when he went off. He is a total class act and l hope he returns as a utility back at some point.

Hell of a guy!

Absolute gent and hard as nails. He wins the Terblanche memorial trophy for being a half decent short term "injury" fix. Probably the first recipient of said prize.

Might not have been an absolute top class 10 but we were a hell of a lot better than we would have been withiut him here and he dug us out of a fair few holes. Coming back from what he did, parachuted into a new team with no ore-season to gell and in a position he doesn’t always play and unfamiliar to playing NH style rugby were all challenges. But his effort and commitment were absolutely first class. In a season where defence has been a huge negative he has put his body in the line countless times and time after time has put in huge hits near our own line and got stuck in and one turnovers when our pack have been standing off and looking at him.

He has brought a lot to us in our time of need and IF we make the QF’s next week then it would be a fitting reward for his efforts. :red:

He takes some shots the fella that would level out a lot of players.
Dusts himself off and doesn't effect him in any mental or physical way as he seems completely unfazed.
That's a proper hard man in my book.

He put his shoulder to the wheel plenty of times and stopped a few mauls which is unheard of in 10. A great pro, just a pity he ain't around for a while longer. I hope Donald is aware of the shoes he has to fill.

Seems a genuinely nice guy on and off the pitch. Seems to enjoy the game, gave his all for the shirt... Didn't get arrested, didnt pish in a taxi or smoke dope, role model for kids, role model for any poor sods suffereing from a horrific disease, inspirational in fact.

Pleasure was ours Christian, pull out s big one next week and enjoy the reputation and respect you earned.

Inspirational player, to come back from what he's gone through tells you all you need to know about the guy.

I hope he comes back.

Nice man who lived up to his name . He had one weakness in his game which was and is kicking - unsure direction and lacking length - and if asked what is his weakest game skill
I am sure he would say the same thing .

That said maybe it was a good thing because it meant Ulster backs had to run with ball more often rather than chase kicks .

He leaves with the respect and best wishes of all .

Agree- Terblanche level but 10 years younger.

If I was in charge I would be breaking the piggy bank to try to bring him back, could be the next Ruan, sadly I think that’s not on the cards
