Leinster v Ulster: Positives versus the Negatives

Post by Kofi Annan »

There has to be positives in there somewhere. So I will start with the negatives.

I traveled to Dublin for that. Now in the horseshoe bar , cold and feed up having a hot Powers.

Positives: it's fixable

Respect Kofi, if I had been at that I'd have headed for the border double quick. Mexicans are a sneering breed of Kunt, I loathe them.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Positives:

Taking our Christmas tree down wasn't the most depressing thing I have seen tonight.
I'm now even more glad I didn't waste any time/money going to watch that tom kite.
When I go on bakebook to see the "you're not a true fan if you don't SUFTUM even after a literal bumming" brigade I can now laugh as opposed to getting agitated. Then I can give myself a wee metaphorical pat on the back and admire my own maturity.
I get the opportunity to ask what our biggest ever defeat at the hands of Leinster has been, and did we at least not break one record tonight?
CL is an absolute warrior. Esp when Conan broke himself trying a big hit.
McPhillips isn't afraid to have a dart.

Negatives:

Pretty much everyone played below standard.
Same old mistakes.
We are just not good enough.
100 points against in 3 inter-pros over the hols!!!!! Shocking.
Never wrestle with a pig. You end up covered in muck and the pig loves it.

Noise is currently standing under the end of a Heathrow runway whilst a 747 takes off overhead levels

Postives- Young Jonny looked the part at 10 when he came on (ours not theirs). I was a bit sceptical of him given his showings for the u20s bit he has added energy and direction in both games he has played lately. Give him a shot against the kings in Feb and see where we go from there. Pack did ok at set piece but Leinster probably outsmarted us tactically by not taking us on much up front and instead tore us to pieces out wide.
Negatives - just about everything else.
Deysel and rod cant hold a ball under imminent pressure. Stewart looks to be another great hope destined to languish in the AIL, but an away game against one of the best sides in Europe is not a place to judge him so he gets a bye ball. Needs a quicker pass though if our 10 isn't to be sacked like leli was.

Max Deegan running along holding off Rob Herring for about 30 metres before he leisurely offloaded the ball, was a standout comedy moment.

We are on a different planet from what they are playing 100 miles south.

Bowe and Trimble are done, Bowe especially. Piutau is a mercenary whore happy to flog himself to the highest bidder. He represents the biggest amount of money we've ever drunk up a wall. I'll be glad to see the back of him and whoever had the clever idea of throwing the annual GDP of a small country at a back when we have forwards like Diack on the books shouldn't be near the purse strings of a professional organisation.

Any chance of a defence coach, or basic hand skills?
