I thought we signed him about a year ago?

Considering he’s not leaving, and why would he given he’s probably been given an IRFU contract and is now first choice second row?

I feel almost guilty that only a few years ago I was at the forefront of making Jordi to Ulster posts as a way to get my day in and raise the old smile ... Now it appears he's almost Messiah like in status over the mediocrity that we're developing.

(Timoney aside - he's got potential - no doubt Les will pick him at hooker then drop him if he enquires what flavour or Columbian Marching powder he's smoking these days)

The Catalan

He was named after Catalonia's Saint Jordi.

#freecatalonia

HWM had insider knowledge on this since the Wasps game.

I stand corrected. HWM is sourcing the onesie already no doubt.

No insider knowledge required, just a modicum of intelligence and the ability to remember facts. Anyone who has visited Barcelona will know of St Jordi just as those who have been to Paris will be aware of St Genevieve.

Fuc'k the Catalans, just greedy money grabbingscum with the same mindset as dumb little england Brexiteers. Spain is being kind to the undeserving wretches, they could let them go and then ruin the Catalan economy for spite.

Decent signing ........................if he's ever fit.

Brexit could still mess this one up.

DUP were grandstanding. They don't realise that Ireland is united through rugby.

In all seriousness we're becoming Leinster-lite.

Murphy, O'Connor, Timoney, Cooney, Moore, Jones, Shanahan, Ross, O'Sullivan, Regan. There are probably more.

Ulster is overflowing with mexicans.

We can't produce our own so we have to get them from somewhere.

The provincial identity has become more and more diluted since the pro era began. Ulster is basically nothing more than a belfast based club in the pro 14. There is very little "Ulster" passion about the kingspan these days, on and off the pitch. This isn't GAWA loyalist kulchurr spake but just how things are. There are simply more players in Leinster due to the greater population. The provincial system is not a fair distribution of the best rugby players in Ireland.

The greater population point has to be a misnomer IMHO but salient points all around. Population has a part to play but systems have as big a part to play... what has happened in Leinster in the days since they couldn't produce a forward to now when they have more or less all the props in the Ireland squad?

Our CiC will tell us that participation in rugby in Ulster is higher than ever before but aside from doing some positive work in non traditional areas and schools the end product does not appear to be there.

Does UR measure the conversion of U18/Schools players into the senior game as a percentage or other metric? Would Col Logan have this as a KPI?
