I knew we could tempt Carter.

Jimmy is 93 now you know, so maybe a short term contract is not such a bad thing for Ulster.

Yeah, he may be pushing on a bit, but he'll play for peanuts. :D

Bears are a native species of ours. How else could we account for all the shyte in the woods?

I hope to Jabus we don’t sign another broken saffer.

Gopperth presumably contracted til end of the season at least if that’s the implication?

Aye and two decades ago M16 was a Provo, but sure he made a great Speaker in the Semmellie. That, of course, don't make a hill of beans.

Jimmy Carter's nuts.

I really like Gopperth but he is one of wasps best players and signed a new contract last October so I doubt it is him. There really can’t be that many class 10s available mid season. Carberry is an Aucklander but can’t see him leaving Leinster. If we are out of Europe, and the case is ongoing is it really worth paying over the odds to bring someone in? Cathal Marsh looks decent for his 5 minute armchair ride in the Pro14....but Id be tempted to give the young 10s a go, and see how they go, then an informed decision can be made on the position at the end of the season.
