With « a homer » of a ref things will be difficult as the first game after the AIs some players were never going to be played a week before the Superdoper .

To that extent a weaker selection could be consider as predictable but like Baggy its the permutation of the selection seems most questionable .
Bowe at centre seems to be the flavour of this season so far which must be based on the fact he appears to be losing pace .

Given the nature of the game- an oddball mid field and away from home ,the idea that you can pick a young scrum half is the daftest thing I ‘be read for months on the board .

Nothing much will be learnt in this fixture unfortunately other than cold weather rugby is no stroll in the park .

I expect a loss. Anything else is a bonus. They sent a crap team to ours so expect a full on assault at their patch. We aint got the horses to handle that, as Eddie would say.

The young guns in the pack could provide plenty of energy but maybe not the smarts. 9 and 13 are the problem positions.

Think we will scrape a win and it will be proclaimed as akin to the battle at that place where they thought one side would lose because there was only 2 soldiers with a pellet gun vs 3000 bad guys with automatic weapons. The 2 guys won that battle and then they had sexual intercourse with some females who were impressed. The guys also won a super duper big shiny medals and were given a million pound each. Sorry off topic but you have been educated on history and stuff...

minutes in the bank for the young guns and a scraped win is about all I'm asking for tonight.

re Cave's continued mistreatment, I was at Rodney Parade for this one last season (March) and just before the end of the warm up DC was involved in an intense, animated and lengthy conversation with Kiss. It didn't look right at the time, and if Kiss doesn't take kindly to questions on his batshit decision making I can imagine that DC's been on a hiding to nothing since.
