When I heard the likes of the Sharks are interested in moving north, my first reaction was "England or France then" rather than the Pro14.

Unless all the clubs within the RFU and PRL agree to it, no way in at England - or it would spell the end of promotion/relegation. Same in France.

Currently, with the way the others are structured - the Pro14 is the only viable option as its a "franchise league".

Are all the matches, during the season, considered towards the final conference(or league) position or is it only the results within the conference that are counted?

I thought it was all matches otherwise the other 'out of conference matches' are basically friendlies.

The current league positions are not including the Ulster v Cheetahs, Cardiff v Edinburgh Munster v Treviso - I am assuming it was because they were was out of conference.

Although he has a point about the tables I've checked a few and are not registering points for some teams. A few days ago they did.

They have an app which actually only shows 1 conference and it's not the one we are in either >threaten >threaten >threaten

Our points have been deducted due to suspicious and irregular betting activities. Apparently someone put a tenner on us breaking the gain line on more than one occasion. Most irregular.

The Rules look they were drafted by a failed laywer.

Oh sorry Martin, they were.

They start off by saying:

3. The Championship will be played in two stages, the League Stage and the Knock-Out Stage, as set out below.

Rule 3 then proceeds to talk about the Conference Stage and the Knock-Out Stage!

It goes on to say points are awarded in all matches in the Conference Stage.

The impression I get from the rules is that we should be sitting on 5 points on the Pro 14 website.

But we're not.
