NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Not a bad plan from the Cheetahs, they were only averaging around 8000 in Super Rugby, from memory. If they could scoop a few extra thousand from this idea, fair play.

Fill the stadium and improve the atmosphere - Ulster Rugby should do something to get an extra few thousand through the turnstiles.
Looks better on TV and sponsors would probably prefer it.

not at all BR.... however they clearly feel the need to excite the local supporters and ensure they have a stadium that looks and feels good to kick start their home entry into this new venture. Anything less will look bad to sponsors, the league and public interest in SA.BR wrote:You think that is a negative Cockatrice?Cockatrice wrote:I see such is the appetite for Pro14 Rugby in South Africa that the Cheetahs have made the first home game free of charge although limited to 10 tickets per application...

It's not like they're short of space. They'd reckon stupid not to. Get as many as possible in and a percentage may just come back.
Yep get them in and hope to hold onto as many as they can for the rest of the season. 10 free tickets each should see a full stadium.

Cheetahs will likely lift the Pro14 trophy before we do.
Re: Ulster V Cheetahs - team
We will win it this year. Our pack is too good. Better than Ireland's pack.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
Re: Ulster V Cheetahs - team
Anything else would be idiotic and if, for example, UR were to miss an opportunity like that, I can name a few contributors here who would be calling for Tag-line's resignation.Cockatrice wrote:...they clearly feel the need to excite the local supporters ... to kick start their home entry into this new venture.

At least they can't pay a band with no ticket money.

We give the Band way to much attention. In future we shouldn't even waste time ignoring them, but I know I'll fail badly and sleg them off at every opportunity.
