The thing is, Northampton were crowing about how good their 2nd and 3rd choice 10's and to be honest, I would struggle to find a good word to say about anyone.
There were no positives at all.
I know it was only a preseason friendly, but for JC, at least bloody try!
Even with the new 10, I really can't see much of a season ahead, I hope I'm wrong!

I give so few decks about this coming year I haven't taken the time to study which Cheetahs team is playing in the Pro 14?

Is it the Super (whatever) side or the Currie Cup side that is playing in South Africa the day after the Belfast match..

Hey, cut that out you. I have it on good authority from the all white nun downstairs that Lanjaron RFC would blatter Ulster & there is no such thing as Lanjaron RFC, that is how poorly the white nun regards Ulster.

I mentioned Ulster, she did that Italian thing with the thumbnail against the front teeth. The ould witch, mickey-dodging sanctimonious bible bashing old crone. >threaten I'd love to give her the kind of clubbing a seal pup dreads.

Los Leones would knock blufu'ck out of Ulster. I'm predicting a Mapimpi hat trick next Friday.

Anyway peepil, that is another game closer to Kiss getting sacked. I heard Gibbes is keeping some moves up his sleeve for when he takes over.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

It's all ok, it was Saints 4th pre season match so they were properly prepared to start the season next week, we had a weeks training in Portugal, a run up a few sand dunes and 2 matches with over 30 players in each squad so when Les actually works out the side sometime around February we will be going well :thumleft:
Oooops forgot we might be back to the same 10's again at that stage :duh:

The moves that he's keeping up his sleeve- are they all defensive, by any chance?

Oh houl on a minute, we can't attack or compete at set pieces either...
