It was a preseason friendly for them !

Yip, and despite what the Ulster rugby PR said, my memory is that it was the Blue Bulls, not the Bulls (although I'm not sure how much difference that would have made at that time).

They weren't exactly at their peak in 2005 either.

I just think we could be greatly underestimating the gap between super rugby and Pro12.

Super rugby is a very low standard. Think Banbridge 2nds.
