Amongst this weeks citings a couple of old favourites:

1) rugby's most banned professional, Dylan Cheapshot Hartley. "Hartley, who was shown a yellow card following the incident by match referee, Ben Whitehouse (Wales), is alleged to have struck the ASM Clermont Auvergne prop, Rabah Slimani (No 3), in the 30th minute of the match in contravention of Law 10.4 (a)."

If he's banned will Eddie "last chance" Jones say enough is enough?

2) Pro rugby's stupidest man, Joe Marler, "Marler, who was shown a yellow card following the incident by match referee Mathieu Raynal (France), is alleged to have struck the Wasps second row, Will Rowlands (No 5), with his elbow in the 48th minute of the match in contravention of Law 10.4 (a)."

Well, I say rugby's stupidest man, I suspect Tuilagi Minor would be his most dangerous rival.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

The Hartley one was a clear red bottled by Whitehouse

Hartley dove into a ruck and took aim at Slimani and smacked him square in the head with a closed fist

Luckily Slimani laid him out with a shoulder later

The only thing more disgusting than Hartleys actions was Ugo Monye condoning it

Both clear reds. Very poor officiating there.

Player welfare paramount.

Funny thing is if Whitehouse officiates correctly and sends Hartley off, then the Slimani incident doesn't happen

Very true. These are calls they got to get right. To be fair to Garces there'd have been no hanging around.

No idea how Slimani hasn't been cited too.

Hartley - no case to answer.
Slimani - warning.

And Russ - 'dove' is not a verb.

Websters say Dove is fine as an irregular verb inflection
