Im unsure who apart from EY were in the room but it is assumed WRU, PRL reps and the welsh clubs

I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
Re: Champions Cup 17/18
When Sky lose the champions cup their rugby coverage is going to be so poor that nobody will subscribe for it.
A weekly pro12 game, autumn internationals, summer tours and Super rugby. Who on earth is going to subscribe to sky for that?
Lose the champions cup and I suspect the rest will be offloaded in years to come as they pull out of covering rugby.

Re: Champions Cup 17/18
the other issue, however, is that BT Sports rugby coverage is utterly vile, presented as if its an old biys club with in-jokes and some utterly stupid people and one hateful Paddybastard.

Re: Champions Cup 17/18
I would have happily stood up in court and under oath sworn that Sky's coverage was the worst most utterly shyte mindnumbing jingoistic hyperballix attempt to cover Rugby known in the history of broadcasting .... Until that is, I had the misfortune to endure the odd match on BT ... now I would have to perjure myself if I was recalled as a witness.
Always ask yourself, "What would Big Rodney do"... And every time the answer is... "Eat It"

I have to say, I always liked Sky's Heineken coverage.

SKY & Munster made the Heineken Cup what it was after starting as a bit crap. I met Paul Wallace after the 2008 final at the Munster Reception in a big tent on the Arms Park pitch.
I said to him he should rake Barnes & Dewi who had tipped Toulouse and he was adamant that although they tipped Toulouse, that both were big Munster fans. SKY lapped up Munster, it was a marriage made in heaven as Munster provided more drama than any other club when the competition was building.
Then along came the greedy fuc'king Lionels and wrecked it.
