They are planning to charge the same rate for Euro games regardless of whether it is the Heineken/Parker Pen which is just wrong. The league games already have a pricing system (Interpros and the Glasgow game more expensive than the other games) Charging the same for a game v Racing 92 and for one v Enisei - STM from Russia for example - NO.

With the news about Gibbes this morning, the question has to be asked - was the ST renewal period opened yesterday with Ulster already aware of his departure?
When did Glasgae get "promoted" to Cat A status?
Not sure. UR website:

Please note: Category A denotes PRO14 fixtures against Glasgow and all Irish opposition, plus all European Champions Cup fixtures. Category B denotes PRO14 fixtures against Edinburgh, Welsh, Italian and South African opposition.

Understand the frustration at the poor decisions taken locally (ie kiss) lack of focus on academy..and lack of transparency nationally (ie pienaar decision etc).. but I will be renewing again.
Ulster hard to watch but desperately want them to succeed....and sure it's better than the giants or crues

I would probably still have mine if I didn't have the kids. Plan to get one again in the 19-20 season, bring the wee fella with me. Hopefully Logan and the band will be gone by then.

I think Bryn said Gibbes walked into his office on Monday with the news ... if not some players knew by Monday but whether they kept the news back they will never admit..

Pretty much the same. Kid number 3 meant that in 2016/2017 I didn't go that much and when renewal came round I just didn't get around to it so no season ticket for the first time since 2005. Wasn't really encouraged by the fact I thought this year didn't look good. Went to the Edinburgh game the other week and while it as pish I realised that I'd missed having a few pints on a Friday night with the lads. Might well renew for next year in the perhaps vain hope that the only way is up.

Not convinced by this. I spoke to someone who knows a lot of the players and when I said did you see Gibbes has left the response I got was that he had expressed wanting to leave from mid-season.

I have two red lines.

The first is Logan resigning. If he does I will renew, if he doesn’t I won’t. Like most folk, I don’t truly know what’s going on behind the scenes but I’ve suspected since the departure of Humph that there is something really toxic there. But Ferris and Wallace do know. When they say Logan should resign, that’s good enough for me. It seems counter-intuitive to withhold money from the club - less money means less investment in world class players and coaches and so the downward spiral continues. But it’s gotta be done. If everyone just blindly renews based on loyalty alone, nothing will change. Logan is anonymous and clearly unaccountable. No coach in the world will make a difference while Logan is there.

The other one is that effing band

I have enjoyed my time supporting Ulster through both the glory years and the years in which We were pretty rank.
I would still gulder as best I could for the team ...they were our lads and I got it.
Many away trips have drained my bank account but then I was committed to going and committed to enjoying the occasion even if defeat was very likely. I dont regret a single hangover, being stranded at airports, or being soaked through At Ravenhill.
I have found that this season (which by no means has been our worst) I have been routinely going to the games. In the back of my mind however, In light of the recent treatment of perhaps the most talented player to pull on the white shirt I do not really buy into the organisation anymore. I will go to my local club and watch more of the AIL games there. I enjoy Rugby but not the twisted politics of the IRFU which has soured my goodwill. Good luck lads and I wish you happy times [/quote]

I posted this in May last year. The actions of the Irfu since have compounded my belief that We are viewed an experimental province of Nordie B"stards to feck about with as deemed fit and give Leinster A a run round the Paddock. The new coach will probably be another Aussie Nuciforafriend and the new 10 an apprentice from Mexico instead of a fully fledged Irish international found guilty of nothing in a court of law. How most Ulster fans can swallow this sheite is beyond my comprehension. Is it just about drink ,socialising and a wee bit of sporting excitement or have you ever tapped into the visceral oneness that makes a community and a great team. Where are your balls ?
