Maybe they will show McCloskey how to defend against a faster man. Gilroy how to defend. Trimble when not to shoot the line. Tommy Bowe how to play rugby. Hendo not to choke in every tackle especially when Poite is the ref. PJ how to take a restart. Luke how to catch a ball.Cockatrice wrote:They all know how to hold a tackle bag correctly..Dave wrote:The chosen 8 will at least get some decent coaching.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

I see Jackson was hurt by some fans jeering and booing, personally I didn't hear any but there you go.

The kingspan crowd boo anything and everything. The booing of the tackle on Chad was frankly embarrassing.Rooster wrote:http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sport ... 89492.htmlDave wrote:Link?scrum5 wrote:I see Jackson was hurt by some fans jeering and booing, personally I didn't hear any but there you go.

Forgive me if I don't shed a tear into my porridge but anymore sound bites like 'we're working on things internally, but it'll take time' will see my porridge dripping from the kitchen walls.
I don't condone booing the team we support, but I can understand people see no other way to vent their justified frustrations and anger.
None of us have faith in the coaching staff/management's ability to sort out this downward spiral, so when I hear again and again how we're all working hard to sort this out, I really don't believe it.
We've been getting worse, year on year for quite a few seasons and most of the staff have overseen that decline. We have problems all over the pitch, both with the pack and the backs and nobody is doing anything about it. Not the players or the staff.
Something is totally rotten at Spanners and it'll take route and Branch changes to sort it.

Was anyone aware of the team being booed? I was too miserable to notice.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

I personally would never boo ... I simply turned my back and walked off in silence like everyone around me, didn't hear any booing ... silence says a lot more IMHO.
If the players AND coaches were miffed coming to the changing room to an empty silent stadium they can be in no doubt of what the public think ... and that Fez wasn't alone!

I expected a boo at full time and was disappointed it didn't come

To be perfectly honest I have little sympathy and I am not sure PJ is expecting sympathy either.
Of course it sucks when you are getting criticised by your own fans but that's the reality of pro sport and that is what happens when the team is far below the required standard.
They know what to do if they want it to stop, they need to actually do it though and stop talking about it. Sick and tired of hearing how hurt they are or how determined they are.

This learning curve we are on ... must be something akin to the arc and length that Neptune takes to get around the sun.
