The run in

Only geggin'

In August I reckon we would have been more than happy with 18 pts from those 5 games, so for once, we're a bit ahead of ourselves. Not much between 1st and 6th though, and already, a sizeable gap after that.

Hmm. Presume the last time we started with 5 in a row was 4 years ago? If we get to 8 in a row we'll be in fair shape going into the Munster game.

Next 6

Connacht Away 7th October
We've always played our strongest hand the week before Europe starts, but with our current rotation policy this could be changed times. Given the Westies current form I think we could edge it.

Bordeaux Away 16th October
Will be very dependent upon how serious they view the HEC and what sort of team they select.

Exeter Home 22nd October
Exeter haven't had a great start to their own season, home advantage should see us get the win. Our lack of bonus point try wins could feck us up massively in a tight european group.

Munster Home 28th October
Must win after last years debacle.

Edinburgh Away 4th November
Ireland New Zealand 5th November / Scotland No Fixture
Difficult game considering Edinburgh could well have a full international deck.

Zebre Home 25th November
Ireland Australia 26th November
Italy Tonga 26th November
Always great getting an Italian team during the international window.

I'd be happy if we won our home games, ecstatic if we picked up an away win.

If we're the real deal we should be winning all those games really. Realistically we will probably lose at least two away.

Edinburgh are keek with their internationals so on that logic we should still win and if we don't I predict we won't win anything this season as we don't have strength in depth :duck:

Depends how much Joe humps us

All together now

Ringpiece is the second coming
Sexton is the best 10 ever closely followed by Wee Mads

Leinster have the 2 greatest Irish hookers ever
Trimble Bowe and Gilroy can't even get in the Ulster team
None of our centres are playing week in week out

Rob Kearney is on form

Ah but he will keep them all as tackle bag holders anyway

Harder to get injured when you hold the tackle bag

Am I hearing correctly that munster are playing super well and have some super people at holding things?

First time we will have Pienaar available during the AIs. Hendo and Best will be missing from the pack only. With Henry, Touhy and Herbst possibly fit again.

Jacko will be benching for Ireland probably and the hitman getting a chance. Joe can't take all our centres plus we have Cave and Louis. Can't see Gilroy making the Irish squad, possibly not Tommy either. With Stockdale and Lyttle chomping at the bit, some guy called Charlie too, I reckon we will hump them.

Is there any need for a test against NZ in Chicago? The way they are playing we will get stuffed.

If AIG want to use their bailout money to pay for it who are we to comment?

Someone told Nuci there is a guy in Chicago that gives a feck about this game .... D4 got all excited and are moving heaven and earth to tap into this vast reserve of Irish support ... I personally don't have the heart to tell him it was a hobo trying to bum a cigarette.
