I'm waiting for the "Spinal Tap" film about the band ... especially when Nigel shows us his Euphonium collection.

Ulster's new away kit. None more black.

Anyone able to settle an old style (i.e. before tinternet) bar-room debate? What size hat does Calum Black wear? :mexican:

We were attacking on their line on 12 minutes. The band start playing some nonsense and we get turned over. An attacking line-out on 23 minutes, band start playing and feck it up. Lineout turns to tom kite. Coincidence?

Discuss...

FFFS get behind the band .................. no wait, I thought I was on bakebook for a moment.

Carry on.

Aye, they are a right carry on. I actually looked up after about 15 minutes to see if they were there, I had wondered have we know need of them tonight since the atmosphere, especially when Rodders trounced Robnoxious was just fine at that point.

I remain totally neutral on the need for a band, the place can be like a morgue at times and some of the best clubs in Europe use some sort of similar "device" to lift things. It's just that .... well they aren't a patch on the Dax town band, are they?

If they Mexicans were as smart as their rugby, they would employ a Mariachi band at d'RDS, hard to beat a GOOD Mariachi for gettin' the toes tapping.

The main problem with our band is they sound as if they are most used to churning out hymns, dull dull dull.

The band, it's there to cheer you up, make you feel like you've had a good experience at the stadium, make if fan friendly, but does it really , no, it's part on the process to pi$h rugby supporters of, drive them away so the stadium I'd full of fücks who know nothing about rugby but still part with the cash for the experience, that won't last as they will run out of these fans.

Bit like the sponsorship model, get a sponsor on board, take the cash then once it's due for renewal offer one of their competitors the chance to be a sponsor for a few shekels more, good if you have a wide market, but not in the small wee country we live in.

If someone from the band posts here could they answer this, why , what's the point and what do you get out of it.

Just seeing this a year later, did you ever find out?

I wear Barmah hats, one winter & one summer, I wear XX-Large, for heads between 24 1/2 to 24 7/8 inches in circumference. There is only one large size as far as I am aware. The XXX- Large, though I suspect it orders only.

Callum's head may require a custom made duncher.
