While I don’t disagree with this. I’m guessing Australia had a completely different team?

They brought a touring squad of about 27, with 23/24 in match day squads, so not massive changes to be fair. Still a very very good result for Ulster and the fact the Ulster squad was a massive mixture of schools and clubs is to be applauded, again busting the theory you have to be from Belfast schools, something that is now totally unfounded.

That does put the Ulster win into perspective a little - I couldn't seem to find the Ireland u19 squad but Sexton, McCann and Finley Lewis were all involved. McCann looked bigger than I had expected..

Callum Reid in the sub academy. He hasn’t played since Schools cup final apparently.
ROD keeps going the way he is then I wouldn’t be surprised to see him involved.
KoTH -any idea how Reid is getting on? From what I've read he didn't seem to want to play prop/pro rugby and thats why he didn't join the academy earlier.

What? You mean like when Munster bate the lard out of NZ 2s in 1978 whilst Mexico & Ulster played test strength teams?
Munster always had the midweek teams in the ould days. >EW

70 POINTS IN 70 MINUTES–RAMPAGING AUSSIES PLAY RUNNING RUGBY ON INDOOR SURFACE
by ASRU on December 13, 2018 in News
The Australian Schools and Under 18 Team defeated a Scottish Schools Selection 70-0 in a riot of running rugby.

Again the very strong defence of the team was an important factor in this good win.

The Aussies forwards set up a good platform over and over again with penetrating drives, getting the opposition on the back foot, but opening up the backs with the opportunity to use quick hands and great support play.

One highlight was the scoring of four tries by winger Brendan Jiminez–one of which was a spectacular run from deep within the Aussies half–demonstrating the truism that Rugby is a game of avoidance, not of collision– as he stepped both sides of his many attempted defenders.

The team has come through with no injuries– so that all players will be available for the Test on Sunday.

The tour concludes with the Test against Scottish Under 19s on this Sunday.

They will be much more formidable–having played, and losing only narrowly, to Welsh Under 19s recently

Bayern, what’s with the McKee love in
