Leinster v Ulster

Post by Dave »

I see Leinster have declared a clean bill of health. Something we can only dream of. How do people see this one? Best available 15 or lambs/ravens?
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

fullish team just no Johann and no Ruan I'd think.

Is Fitzy broken again?

Surely they have a loosehead or two crocked. I thought Fitzy only had a cold?

I'm hoping we rest everyone to focus on the HEC.

Full on no question.
The Zebre match was the right game to rest players so now thats done we are all out.
The longer gaps in between games this year means there will be no traditional festive away derby roll over.
Momentum is with us at the minute and after the Munster away roll over last year is where we started losing it.
Important we really go for it down there and back it up at home to Munster.
Will set the tone for the HEC there after.

Yeah perhaps I read it wrong, clean bill of health from the weekend more like. I personally don't think a two week rest is helpful, could be counterproductive. Cave, Touhy, Trimble will be itching to play especially after the pre Xmas Irish camp. Agree with Snipe about Ruan and Johann.

Imo we should aim to go all out to win against Munster, Montpellier and Leicester. I would like to see JP,JM and RP along with the guys who did not play against Zebre given this weekend of. I think the guys who did not turn up last week should be given the opportunity to get a result against Leinster. I for one will be there to cheer on our B team.SUFTUM

You sure we didn't start losing at at the final whistle in Franklins Gdns, that's how I recall it anyway.

As strong as possible for me

Something like

Gilroy, Trimble, Cave, Marshall, Allen, Jackson, Marshall, Court, Herring, Fitzpatrick/Lutton, Stevenson, Tuohy, Diack, Doyle, Williams/Wilson

A lot of that depends on fitness but that's a team that can win at the RDS.

In the Coaching staff trust we must; the force is with us!
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!

A lot may also depend on who d4 allows to play.
Can I come out from behind the sofa yet?

D4 can rest up Vs the Westies. They'll target us unless the IRFU step in.

Would not expect to see about 6 of that team playing.
