Franco was our last "hard Saffer".

Never wrestle with a pig. You end up covered in muck and the pig loves it.
Re: Injury Update
When was the last time that we made a good decision on anything?
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Still think we made the correct decision on not signing Botha now that he has a significant injury on his profile.
Even Coetzee the cripple aka mangled Marcel had one MOM performance this season.

Re: Injury Update
9, I'd donate a left ball to see a few dozen performances like Marcell gave against Cheetahs. The only thing is I'd be considering your left ball rather than mine, at my age you need a pair to scratch on non-rugby weekends.UlsterNo9 wrote:Dave wrote:When was the last time that we made a good decision on anything?

No point using mine, you'd have to ask my missus for them.BaggyTrousers wrote:9, I'd donate a left ball to see a few dozen performances like Marcell gave against Cheetahs. How is Payne? Has he quietly retired or does he still hope to play?
Will Coetzee be ready for preseason?

Jared's contract is up this year, but we have heard nothing. No retirement, no extension.
Re: Injury Update
If Jared is retiring can he claim against the B&I Lions injury insurance?Snipe Watson wrote:Marcell will be good to go in July.damianmcr wrote:How is Payne? Has he quietly retired or does he still hope to play?

Re: Injury Update
Regarding Deysel, it seems pretty soon for the BBC to be talking ACLs.
On the other hand, Matty Rea was said to have had a bang to the leg against the Ospreys, yet he was on crutches last night and Gusher mentioned a "nasty knee injury".
Anyone heard anything?
