Very one-sided game but have to feel for the Regent guys. Methody very efficient from start to finish. Think we might see some future Ulster stars in their no. 8,12, and 13! That guy Macklin was ferocious!

How can two finalists in this cup be so mis-matched?

It wasn't what the scoreline suggests.

Take it from me, an old Collegian, Methody fluked 36 points

aye Macklin seems to be one for the future,a prop playing no 8 with good skills, anybody know whether he is a loose or a tighthead. The commentators were saying he is currently 18 and a half stone. :o

Methody dominated from start to finish, they were a cut above, 8, 9 12, 13 all stood out, and the handling was awesome. Regent were completely outclassed...although it was good to see Jimmy McCoy back on the ravenhill turf, what we could do with a prop like that in the current ulster set up!

Paddy Jackson had a great game at 10 including setting up the try for Morris and a try saving tackle on Johnston. Made great decisions all game which was very impressive for a 5th year.

It pains me to say it but Methody looked rather tasty.

Are many of those guys going to be back next year?

Makes you wonder about the seeding system when you see a mismatch like that.

On another note, it looked liked some of those Methody forwards have been forcefed on egg sodas and Lucozade. It was boys versus bruisers out there.

Can you provide information about the 'seeding system' Ball Boy?

Nothing wrong with the seeding system - Methody were a class apart from Regent, but Regent had worked their socks off to get there and you can't take that away from them. It wasn't the seeding that was wrong, simply that the draw was kind. Someone mentioned that the Methody/Ballymena semi-final would have made a good final - probably true, and if Ballyclare and Regent had been drawn against those two in the semis, it would possibly (probably) have panned out that way. that's nothing to do with seeding though - Regent had earned their chance to get that "favourable" draw with hard fought wins, particularly against Armagh and away to Coleraine.

Another Piccie here, Colin!
