Post by ColinS »

Maybe I'm a bit.. slow, but couldn't access the site at all yesterday. Homepage, message board, everything down.

Anyone else have this problem?

Nope - I couldn't get in on Sunday between 6am-9am or 5pm-9pm (no probs with any other sites).

- no idea about the rest of the day as I was at a mini tournament in D'dee - complete with hail, snow and gale force winds and the odd bit of sunshine.

Question for both Colzo and moondance
Could you read posts but not be able to log in or could you not even access site ?
Were there any fault pages ?

For times on Sunday I couldn't reach this site AT ALL for any purpose, although other sites around the web were OK.

I had a complete service failure from ntl on Sat where I could access nothing - but I'm sure that was a separate issue.

Same problem as Paul, no access to site at all.

I had probs with NTL/Virgin on Saturday as well (think it was Belfast generally) but I can't see any connection between the two as all other sites were available on Sunday :?

Any time I tried on Sunday I always got on. I would have remembered had I not.

I took a look at the posts of 3 users (Rooster, GerryO' and myself) I knew to be around on Sunday at various times and found these 3 posted at:

2 games were televised - 12:30 and 15:00 BST. I was mainly away from the computer watching the games.

Well I couldn't swear to the times but I definitely couldn't see the site for parts of Sunday - so it looks as if Colzo, moondance and myself had a problem when others did not.

I'm a virgin/ntl customer and rooster isn't. So if moondance and colzo are ntl/virgin also and Cables and GerryO are not that might be a clue.

Cables is NTL also PWRM.

I am on a twisted pair (what else?) rather than the co-axial if that helps.

Whole site down for me from 11am(ish). I'm also on NT stars / Virgin Crap-media.

I wasn't in at all on Saturday so not too sure if there were problems then, my mate said there were though.
Virgin Media broadband technical support is useless. Charge 25p per minute & 40p connection charge!

Been like that from 22/06/2001 and I am loving every minute of it Gerry.

BTW, a list like that does not take long - depends on how you use the available resource.
