Wonder did we ever unknowingly meet in Durham Street, before we eventually met at Ravers?
Probably not. I was only in Durham St a couple of times before they relocated to the new unit in the City Hospital. Dr Scally was in charge when I was a regular.

Re: Joke of the Day

My wife is always complaining that I'm tight with money so yesterday, to surprise her, I treated her to afternoon tea. It was very exciting as she had never given blood before ... SPOILER ALERT First time donors get a cold drink. (at least they did when I gave my first pint back in 1977) I'm on abo...

Re: New Signing - Werner Kok

Stats aside, one could argue that Kok is the living embodiment of our new ‘three pillars’ of energy, enjoyment and competitiveness. He never stops, has had a bit of craic with East Terrace and knew he’d have to be the fittest bloke in the squad to make up for being a short Brennan. Would you want y...

Re: 6 Nations 2024

Given recent form, quite generous odds for the away teams on Saturday.

Italy 5/2
Scotland 15/2
England 12/5

Some of you may be encouraged to learn that my neighbour is still having regular sex at 80!

Re: 6 Nations 2024

There could be a bizarre scenario where Ire win the championship with 3 wins and Eng finish 2nd with 4. Just give everyone a trophy. It's what everyone wants anyway (apart from Bryn). If Ireland win the thing and Wales finish last i think nearly everyone will get a trophy albeit a wooden one for th...

Time for Ryan Baird to start.
Short of a mathematical miracle we are still on course to win the 6N.
Who cares?

Winning the pot and losing to England is failure just as it was when Ireland did it to them

You'd have thought Murray would have trusted his forwards to Munster it instead of giving Eng a go at the death?

Better team won though. 3-2 a fair reflection
