Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
Did not see that coming, a premiership club according to mulligan, maybe he seen the writing on the wall that jackson was going to start ahead of him next season and secured one last pay day to take him up to retirement.

Re: Ulstermen Playing Abroad
Heard McAuley had a trial with rotherham, so i assume he will only be playing there next season if he impresses with the trial.cjp wrote:McAuley going as well?

Re: Squad for next season
by BuckRogers » Wed May 02, 2012 9:04 am For point of order the members of the squad not involved with the game were allowed to travel to Dublin as and how they pleased, Henry for example was in the Berkley Court for a bit prior to the game with his peg leg. I saw a good few other players milling a...

Re: Next NIQ
IMO Spies is not the type of player we should be looking at, don't get me wrong, hes a good player (when he wants to be) but isnt consistant enough and doesnt tend to get stuck in. We need to be looking at someone who plays across the whole backrow, not just 8, Alberts or deysel, or if we want an ou...

As i said in a previous thread i think Court will start, purely based on the fact that if Afoa was ever taken off Court was shifted across and P Mac came on. I would also be tempted to start Black, purely because hes a better scrummager than P Mac, who would come on at roughly the 50minute mark.

Re: the 3 shirt
Going to throw a bit of a cruve ball and suggest that if court starts at TH we start Black at LH, he is a better scrummager than McCallister and although he doesn't offer as much round the park i think a front row of black best and court would be very solid for the first 50, then bring McCallister o...

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
No surprise Barker is going back... home? McKinney playing French Division 2 rugby would be a much better experience than playing for a team like Bristol Wouldnt be happy to see Barker move on, he was very good last year when called upon and although Henderson is meant to be very highly rated keppi...

Re: Back to Bread & Butter - Connacht Match
It we want to do the extreme thing and completely change the team i think we could still beat them with this team, only area were we are decidely weak is backrow, everywhere else we look ok imo. McCallister Brady Afoa (dependant on whether he is cited and likely to miss the semi) Stevenson Barker Mc...

Re: Afoa to miss the semi?
wouldnt be surprised if something did come of it and tbh we couldnt really complain much if he was banned. For me though the fact jones is reaching to get the ball he spilled makes it look worse than it is, still its silly from the big man to tip him like he did.

Positive:
The reaction on turnipfans.com- Blaming the ref(personally i thought he was dodgey to both sides), saying they deserved to win that game, Struggling to accept being beatin at their own game.

Re: Saints??
32 weeks, over the summer... unbelievable decision. This guy intentionally broke a fellow players arm. He shouldn't play again and in fact should be facing a jail term. Absolutely agree, hes only going to miss around 4 months of rugby, should have been banned all of next season so he couldnt play a...

Re: Treviso v Ulster
I'm quite shocked what D'arcy has to do to get a spot in the 1st team. Saved us against Clermont, saved our top four hopes today and has been outstanding every game, especially against Edinburgh recently. Terblanche starts because of his cool head and there's no doubt of how calm he is on the field...
