What’s the verdict on Harry Sheridan’s performance last night? I was too engrossed in the scoreboard to notice who was doing what in the tight.
Perhaps some green shoots in our forwards production line with McCann, Sheridan and potentially McNabney coming through in the back row.

Re: Billy Burns
The buck stops with management. Singling out a player is a cop-out in this situation, especially one who is better than any alternative in the squad (again management’s responsibility) and who has clearly played through injury for us.
Billy is a punch-bag for not being Paddy.

Re: Ulster in the Challenge Cup
As an aside - AOC and Treadwell may struggle to gain parity in the collisions at times, but it makes their durability all the more impressive. We’d be lost without them. If Munster are getting a 6ft 7in Saffa, we should too to share the workload there.

Re: Pro 14 Final vs Leinster, Sept 12th.
Ulster need to sort out 13 as well as 10, Hume could be worth investing more time in to see how he builds but the partnership with McCloskey is maybe still missing something going forward even if they approach the defensive chemistry McCloskey and Marshall have developed together. Marshall can be r...

Re: Semi Final Edinburgh v Ulster Sat Sep 5 7:35pm
As above, wee Mike trampled over for Edinburgh third try. Guts do not change the laws off physics Aye but I'd be of the Kevin Keegan approach to matches- as long as we score more than them im happy- and Lowry at 15 gives us another playmaker in the backs and helped sharpen up our attack. Also Hamis...

Re: Bath v Ulster
What has happened to this forum this season. There seems to be no enthusiasm, no interest, apathy reigns. I do not contribute tbh but have allways enjoyed looking in regularly for the wit, energy etc for our boys. Whats up ?? For me, there’s too many threads. One would probably be enough and it cou...

I know of two tickets available - £65 each - PM me if you want them and I’ll try and work out how to read PMs in the meantime.

To be fair, the Leinster backline doesn’t exactly fill me with dread - which is why it’s a shame Addison and now others won’t be there to exploit that. Their pack however...

Re: Any word on the Academy?
Slightly different news but Callum Reid played a half for Banbridge 2s last weekend. Hopefully this might be him getting back into rugby, he looks fit enough too. Does Callum Reid feel indifferent about being a professional rugby player (fair enough if so) or what’s the situation with him? He seems...

Re: Time to move on
Just like in the Mafia, the UAFC needs to have a war every so often to settle bad blood and challenge/ defend the natural order. Provided no innocents get caught in the crossfire, it’s relatively entertaining for the rest of us. Maybe a Godfather Part IV thread could be set up for it? :stir: Oh yeah...
