I was on a flight back from an away game (possibly Glasgow) a couple/few years back, the team were on the same plane as was Ferris.
It was pretty obvious Ferris was persona non grata as he tried to talk and engage with the players onboard.

Re: Where does the future lie?
Schools rugby in Ulster is now and has been dominated for some time by three Belfast schools, with a couple more in the slipstream. Good honest rugby-playing schools around the province have switched off, and rugby is now less important. There is little or no focus on developing future rugby players...

Re: Kits Off
I’d like to think it was B. Ultimately at LH he isn’t going to dramatically change UR fortunes on the pitch and he’s on big money. Absolutely no point keeping an unsettled player. No way should UR be financially subsidising any return to SA. Will the saved contract money be reinvested? I think a lo...

Re: Dragons Pre Match Q&A with Jonny Petrie
Who at Ulster Rugby was at fault for the debacle v LaRochelle? Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk And does he think fans are stupid enough to believe the monetary loss of one fixture has left Ulster in complete financial ruin. Ferris said on the Viaplay URC podcast the other day that apparently th...

Re: Contract Situation
So the rumoured exits so far are O’Sullivan French Jones Shanahan Burns Marshall - retiring Carson Addison McDonald comes back from Connacht to fight it out with McKee for 3rd choice scrum half. You imagine Saunderson and Wilson go onto development contracts to replace French and O’Sullivan. Same w...

Re: Contract Situation
There is no way this is all due to the unexpected loss of income from one game. Are we really living that hand to mouth, where is any long term planning and contingency. Big budget NIQs should never have been considered if we were that close to the wire financially. It all suggests financial disfun...

Re: Contract Situation
While not absolving Petrie I think we need to look at quite a few others From looking at the articles of association for UR it seems that the Professional Game Board ultimately reports, or at least is under the supervision, of the Management Committee Management Committee Chairman P Terrington, Pre...

Re: Petries Answering Questions
What’s the Council’s issue? And for those who can’t be bothered to open the BBC link, the Chief Exec of the SRU (who’s done all the hard work) is leaving in the summer. I would suggest there’s a fairly high chance of JP replacing him. Would they touch him? I doubt it. I’m sure Ulster will give him ...

Re: Leinster v Ulster Mon Jan 1 5:15pm KO
You mention Dalton and McBurney yet both have shown, at Newcastle and Edinburgh respectively, that they’re simply not good enough. How’s that feck ing anything up? McBurney was one of the outstanding players in the U20 team that got to the RWC final in 2016, scoring tries for fun, including the fin...

Re: Viaplay Offer
viaplay pulling out of the UK any thoughts where URC coverage will move to I wonder if the BBC would have the Ulster Games back. The BEEB would love to step in home and away, so here is hoping. But, if URC/CVC partners do a deal with BT or Sky etc will they allow a BBC NI deal for home games the wa...

Im sure if Conchúr Mac Adaim can conjure up a new sponsor prepared to stump up near £1m then JP boys would talk to them.
