Re: LOGAN OUT PETITION

From a supporter perspective, thank goodness. The clear out in Ulster Rugby has been brutal. I have heard the departing physio didn’t go voluntarily and has not got another job. Who is behind the departures of some very good people?

Re: Ulster V Ospreys SDC Qualification

CP on Instagram- my daughter sent the photo - thanking Ulster and grateful for playing with some great men. Photo of him walking down tunnel at Ravenhill with PJ behind him. He possibly took it on him to voice the players’ feelings.

Re: Ulster V Ospreys SDC Qualification

I went to the game - partly to help me decide whether I should renew my season tickets. There were hordes of people who knew nothing about rugby and were not regulars. Those beside me went off to a corporate bar at half time and didn’t return. The group behind us were really annoying - some prize qu...

Re: The State of the Nation (Ulster)

Apologies if my facts are incorrect. I thought the court case centred around consent not not on the details of the activity. I did not avidly listen to the details and stand to be corrected. My response was not on the details of what was done but on the attitude of UR and IRFU to Paddy and Stuart.

Re: The State of the Nation (Ulster)

Baggy, I consider myself a Christian- can’t comment on the decent. I agree with most of your post. I have not renewed my season ticket - still mulling it over. I don’t think any of us would agree with the treatment of the girl - even if it was consensual. However some have told me this is how young ...

I asked about the aimless kicking. Supported by many but the worrying thing was that Les looked shocked that anyone should have thought that.

Re: Bad News Day for the DUPers.

Sorry for the delay in replying Baggy but I've been walking in the Antrim hills today. I never told a lie in filling in DLA forms. I frequently wrote "not assessed" when asked if a patient could use pots and pans, peel potatoes, walk up and down stairs etc. because as a GP I did not do thi...

Re: Bad News Day for the DUPers.

I may be a Tory but I was also a GP for 36 years and observed the abuse of the DLA benefit. It was intended to allow those with disabilities to live as independently as possible. Instead it spawned an industry of people looking for a set of symptoms that would allow them to get benefits and a host o...

Re: Joke of the Day

After that Christmas cracker joke here's one I saw on Facebook. Apologies to others who may have seen it also. Policeman comes to a door holding a photograph. Rings bell. Door answered by husband. Policeman - sir, is this a photograph of your wife? Husband - yes Policeman - I'm afraid it looks as if...

Re: Bad News Day for the DUPers.

I can't decide whether this is a mixture of incompetence and scam or just pure scam. What makes me veer towards scam is that both politicians and civil servants seemed to be relaxed about abuse of the scheme when they thought HM Treasury was picking up the bill. Panic only set in when Treasury infor...

Re: Biblical matters

Not entering in to debate. Just a couple of points 1. The religious people in the bible called Jesus "a wine biber and a gluttonous man" because he dined with "publicans and sinners" 2. Jesus never condemned "sinners". He did condemn the religious leaders who set standa...

Re: Meet the new players evening.

I went along last night _ mainly because it was free. Who cares about the shirt. The 6 players came across as gentlemen and all were very sociable and interacted really well with the supporters. If they play half as well as their character suggests we will all be happy - and I actually thought Rodne...
