Re: Are we bad mannered?
The general consensus among us Leinster fans was that was the best atmosphere in the RDS in years. And that was due to the 50/50 split of the fans. I think as rugby supporters we can be a bit too precious about the traditions and try to differentiate ourselves from the stereotypical soccer fan. 20,0...

Re: Ulster V Leinster: Unit by unit
Best of luck tomorrow lads/lassies. Hope you all have a great day in Dublin. Its supposed to be a nice day so my advice is to get to the ground early. There are bars aplenty (load up on the oul tinnies too) in the RDS and if you have kids with ye then they will have loads of space to run around, eve...

Now wouldn't ye all be very disappointed if ye turned up at the RDS and we're not there!

Re: Sarries away it is then....
I think I can safely say that I speak for every non-sarries, rugby fan in Europe when I say, I hope you beat the crap out of them in the QF. If you bring your A game, the one you had at Northampton away, then it will be a very enjoyable game. Its important, not just for Ulster, but for the game of r...

Re: George Hook at Ravers
Any chance you could keep that gobshite up there? like forever!
Heres a question that will get him wound up.
"George, do you mind being constantly compared to Eamon Dunphy?
Then sit back and watch the steam bellow from his ears.

Re: Leinster 2012/13
There is a thread on babbling brook about the idea of moving the Leinster v Ulster Rabo games to the Aviva. Do ulster fans think that would be a runner?

Re: Northampton Saints V Ulster match updates.
Great performance lads, Ulster are gonna take some stopping this season. Good to see Hartley and his cronies have their arses handed to them again by the Paddies. A few trips to Dublin on the cards, start savin the euros.

Re: Pro12 11/12 Attendances
Leinster didn't fill Donnybrook and Munster didn't fill old TP.
But when they moved to the new stadia their attendance figures shot up, and have not fallen back at all.
So I wouldn't be surprised if the same happened up north. Its up to the ulster branch to get the marketing right.

Re: Pro12 11/12 Attendances
Ulster and Leinster seem to have a lot of games on at 7.00pm on a friday. I don't know what its like up around ravers, but its hard to get to anywhere around dublin by 7.00pm on a friday night. TV pressures I know but it puts a lot of people off, and then they have to get home too. Also, it rules ou...

Re: Pro12 11/12 Attendances
Walked into that ladychap! What shug is pointing out is that sustained success and marketing will fill it in the same way as it has done in Leinster. But unlike Leinster we won't be paying rent to the RDS or the Aviva whilst at the same time repaying the IRFU for a loan that upgraded Donneybrook jus...
