Re: Dan McFarland

I really can't see too much of an issue here. So Dan has made his decision. If Townsend believes that holding him to the full 9 months of his contracted term serves Jock rugby well he is a bigger balloon than we all thought. To Bryn I would say `houl yer ground ". No organisation that I have be...

Re: Season Ticket - Renewing or Not

Since starting this thread I had always assumed that for next year there would be no reason not to take up a season ticket again. Oh how little I knew of what was to come. Picking up on Tender's strap line "Support the Team, not the Regime" I feel that I can walk back into the Hill next se...

Re: PLAYERS NOT HAPPY

Baggy I have been wondering about that statement by Red, it did seem an unusual situation. Post the media circus and the betrayal by FIRFU I cannot see how the players can be other than extremely upset and that situation will only have worsened following Logan's amateur hour attempt in his media int...

Re: LOGAN OUT PETITION

Picked up a murmur a couple of hours ago, from a reasonable source, that Logan may be on his way out. Some potential targets to replace him but no names mentioned. Apparently its been on the cards, there’s a surprise, but held back until the post trial dust settled.

Re: ARE WE JUST GOING TO MEEKLY ACCEPT THIS?

The pain and anguish on here is extraordinary. I can very well see where people are coming from when they say they are finished, done etc. I have been thinking about this all day -what to do or say. Presently my view is simple. This is my club, my team, my family. I have invested in it, supported lo...

Re: Read between the lines

Snipe My take on this is somewhat simpler. if their Code of Conduct was worded correctly and they had breached it to the extent of being guilty of Gross Misconduct then dismissal would have followed automatically unless the IRFU opted to take a lesser sanction. However as reported across various med...

Yes indeed I had forgot that Jackson was similarly involved to a much lesser extent. The hard place is now harder than diamond and the rock makes Everest look like Slemish.

Re: Who will decide

Snipe You stated that this is an HR matter and as such will be decided upon based on the details of their contracts and standards employed within them. I absolutely concur with this view. Being in a position where I have to deal with such matters on a reasonably frequent basis I understand only too ...

Re: Who will decide

Well if the ad in the Belfast Telecrap was above board is anyone up for another campaign calling for Logan to resign. We could perhaps run a book on how quickly we reach the going rate £2k, or how many backers we get. Maybe UR could chip in a raffle prize, maybe a useless forward if they can find on...

Thats the news desk contact email. Get in touch and let the feckers know how you feel about the ad. I sent my email 5 minutes ago, it won't make a blind bit of difference but I feel better for it.

Cracker and Snipe.
In 2 posts you both sum up in the most concise manner possible the dilemma that all fans face right now. I don't know what the best answer or action is. I do know that fairness and justice left the field a long time ago.
