He had ice on the hamstring pretty rapidly too.

Re: Ulster v Glasgow Fri Sept 24th 7:35pm KO Prem Sports

Really enjoyable if scrappy game and great to be back at a fairly full Ravers. Small victories and all that. Carter and Jones the big concerns for me, I don't feel either of them impact the game anywhere near enough...it's time enough for Treadwell to really make himself indispensable in the engine ...

Re: Ulster v Glasgow

My take on it was that the Stockcube tackle wasn't complete - he didn't "complete" the tackle, he failed to hold on to him (or he slid off him rather than releasing him - same difference). In the heat of the moment how many of us (in our younger day, of course) would have done exactly the...

Re: Ulster v Glasgow Fri Sept 24th 7:35pm KO Prem Sports

OK team but if Marcus Rea can't get ahead of his brother and Greg Jones by now then it doesn't bode well for him. That's what caught my eye also. Happy enough with the rest and fair play to emerging cult hero Bradley. Not sure what to expect from Glasgow... Leaning toward a pretty fast paced, high ...

Re: Vermeulen

That's a genuine holy feck signing, hugely well done to all involved. Big enough call (on the optics, at least) to pull out of the Nakawara deal but you can't help but be impressed with the behind the scenes operation between both. Now he just has to pass the medical :duck: Much needed in terms of f...

Re: Pack for next season...

The front row is as good as it has ever been and for the few games we get Henderson and Carter, I think the second row is good to very good. I know Carter gets a tough rap in this parish but I think he is a good all rounder. He isn't the most eye catching lock, but all the "lock" jobs wor...

Re: Marcell Coetzee

sensible to release him and good luck back in SA to Marcell. Happy that we got to see the best of him after a few dreadful injuries and there's no major qualms from me about allowing players to return to their homelands after the past year - just a pity we won't have him for the Parker tilt. Hope he...

Re: Contract Situation

I had thought McBurney's time was up late last season when Andrew moved convincingly past him around the Pro14 final - but it's quite sad to see him go. Looked like he might have everything we needed when he came through but never kicked on as several have said. Edinburgh's a super move to him and f...

as experimental as possible without falling into an embarrassing hoking would be lovely. a fine balance but I'm sure Dan will be looking in the same direction.

That's shocking. They hardly need the advantages Murphy's been keen to dole out.. where's the TMO in his ear for Izzy.

Re: Ulster v Leinster Sat Mar 6th 7:35pm KO

Borrowed that Exeter tactic of the three man latch - seems like a rule bender but it's been around long enough now to be deemed fine.

Izzy having a very good cameo so far. Balacoune a joy to watch as ever

Didn't see a single Leinster player appeal that 'block' - Ruddock misread the play and thats that. Very poor stuff

Re: Ulster v Leinster Sat Mar 6th 7:35pm KO

Murphy was talked into a red by the tmo and touch judge. A forearm to the shoulder is now an elbow to the throat. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk Talked out of a red on the O'Brien challenge and into one on the Warwick. More than a little frustrating and you can't help but wonder if, fearing t...
