Re: Petries Answering Questions
I had heard BCC accused Ulster of overselling the East Terrace and Promenade. I've heard of people who buy cheaper tickets for Family or Memorial ends and the use a firend's screen grab to get on the other terraces. I think this has led to the overcrowding issues that started the problem. That being...

Re: Plastic Pitch
Too old to have played rugby on an artificial pitch but I’ve played football on both 3G and 4G. Have to say I much prefer 3G despite the black crumb covering shoes and lower legs. My old knees can’t cope with 4G so had to stop playing on it. I think it’s likely to cause ware and tear problems as wel...

My old head master. Nobody misbehaved when Mr Lamont was around but he was a nice man once you got to know him as an older pupil.

Re: Any word on the Academy?
Quite a few names I would be unfamiliar with truth be told, but great result. Is Conor McKee a scrum half or am I confusing him with someone else, would be interested to know how the forwards all got on, and Hump junior hopefully looked better than he did for the Irish U20s. Conor McKee is a scrum ...

Re: Marcell Speculation
There could some truth to that Cap’n but I can’t remember a photo emerging apart from my poor quality one of the back of his head in the Stormont Hotel .
There must have been some interest from Ulster though, otherwise incredibly naive on their part to be used in that way.

Re: Marcell Speculation
It isn’t too long ago an Ulster head coach and DoR held meetings with a well known international with time to run on his contract, but ultimately baulked at following through on a deal when the player’s home union played hardball over the compensation required to release him from his contract. We ha...

Was Peel at the stadium? He didn't seem to be there during the warm up which I thought was odd.

I imagine more freedom to do your job could be a factor. It would be like moving from public to private sector.

Have you a more logical theory than calling me a liar?Snipe Watson wrote:What are the chances that Humph and Cowboy would have a very public lunch with a player who they were thinking of signing? I'd have thought slim.

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
Well the fact is I saw 4 people together at a table at lunchtime today. Three of whom were instantly recognisable to me once I saw their faces. I have no idea whether Hogg will ultimately be signed, but he is a great player. I was actually a little shocked when I saw him as I was expecting to hear a...
