Re: Positives & Negatives Ireland V France (2)

Jones out. Surely he has to bring Murphy and not put faith in Earls (who will be lucky to make the plane) and Fitzgerald as back ups to Kearney who isn't match fit. Agreed. What has Murphy done to Kidney to be excluded? Murphy is pure class, highly rated, by everyone except the Ireland ma...

Re: Positives & Negatives Ireland V France (2)

Court is being disadvantaged by his merely reasonable ability to survive at tighthead as well as loose. CIMAN i agree totally with you concerning Tom Court but he is also being hampered by no specialised scrum coach at Ulster, Cian Healy and Mike Ross are uncompariable to the players they were 2 se...

Re: Positives & Negatives Ireland V France (2)

I think he may have went up once, but he was involved in a series of very impressive irish scrums soon after he came on. His scrumaging is good - but he needs to offer more around the park to match healy and ross. Court is being disadvantaged by his merely reasonable ability to survive at tighthead...

Re: O'Driscoll punch on Chris Henry

FFS, I thought we were talking about rugby? :stir: Heat of the moment stuff, and rather the odd dig, which will happen in rugby, than the all out assault by Tuilagi, which was unacceptable when viewed against the supposed "blow" that provoked it. Ref BOD vs Henry, all rather handbagish... ...

Re: video i found of andress

I think Andress is worth a punt. And if the guy has serious aspirations for a W.C. squad place, then Ulster is realistically where he needs to play. Pity it seems to have passed, attitude or no. Wasn't Ross in the same boat til he returned to Leinster? Now he's a world beater and a place for life in...

Re: NEW CONTRACT FOR BEAR ?

We have Black, McAllister and Court at LH We have Fitzpatrick and Afoa at TH Adam Macklin? I would add Cronin to that list,as well, give him some time training with Ulster, and see how he develops. FFS, man dear, these guys (Fitzpatrick and Macklin,) aren't going to have the cream of Europe sh**ting ...

Methinks,

Leinster will win by about 10 points
Ulster will secure a losing BP
Osreys will run in about 6 tries
Cardiff will get a losing BP.

Ulster to Play Munster away.
For once, I agree...

Re: video i found of andress

If we were to take the moral high ground at Ulster all the time, wither N.Best, J.Harrison et al....? I've heard decent reports ref. his propping- he seems rated. So it seems a bit sad we couldn't bolster the squad with one of our own, in a position where we're a bit lightweight atm, over alluded to...

Re: NEW CONTRACT FOR BEAR ?

Thing is do we want a third TH or a fourth LH. I think the former is more important Go on and talk me thru the props,I await with bated breath. What makes me laugh the most though,is as far as I can fathom there is not one poster on this thread that as any idea about front row play, for none of them...

Agree ref. Back row cover. 2 maybe needed. Backrow now looks shot, due to excessive demands and covering for Fez.

Re: Ulster v Connacht Positives and Negatives!

Yer doing an awful lot of complaining about the ref for a team that won. The 2nd try might not have happened if the ref had stopped play like he should have for all the injured players. We may have got away with a few things but the ref didn't exactly hand us our 16 points. We're no mugs anymore an...
