Think I owe Jacob an apology. Mostly held his own in the scrum against a much vaunted opponent.

Re: Contract Situation

Tom o’toole was nowhere near Leinster rugby. Timoney, AOC and Shanahan I don't believe even had an academy opportunity. Missing my point. All were products of the Leinster schools system( I thought TOT in his early days played in Leinster schools system until he went to Oz?) My point was they came ...

Re: URC 2022/23 - Other Sides

Munster have signed the winger Kilgallen from Connacht on a 2 year deal. Rumoured to be signing Connacht's Tom Daly as well. Shameful how they are allowed to pick off squad members from other provinces by offering them more money. Kilgallen was born in Kildare. Soon there will be more Leinster play...

Re: Dan’s Not the Man.

What's with the Jackman hate, out of interest? The only person i've spoken to who has worked with him spoke quite highly of him. From where I'm sitting, it seems to me like he did a very good job at Grenoble before things started to fall apart a bit after 'the incident', then would up at the Dragon...

Re: New season awaits us

So on last years standings, there would be no Italian or Welsh teams involved. Qualifiers would have been 4 Irish, 3 Saffers and Glasgow. While merit is primary, I'm not sure that I'm at ease with two nations not being represented. Ingerland having 8 representatives out of 10 is a lot more galling....

Re: 2023 world cup

Unchanged starting XV to face the All Blacks on Saturday. McCarthy and O'Brien on the bench instead of Ryan and McCloskey. Tough on McCloskey who had a fine game on Saturday. Suggests to me that they're concerned Hansen won't last the 80 minutes.

Re: Ireland world cup games 2023

How come the pools seem to be so lop-sided: Pool A - world number 2, 4 Pool B - world number 1, 3, 5 Pool C - world number 7, 8, 10 Pool D - world number 6, 9 I'm sure there has been some discussion about this somewhere. Am I missing something? They were decided, and based on the world rankings, in...

8. But Quinn is packing down in the 8 position in the scrum.
