Re: Positives & Negatives: Ulster V Bath

Is this not an overly negative piece of journalism from Peter Bills for the Irish Independant... haven't won the Heineken Cup since 1999, Bath 12 months earlier than that. The meeting of one-time champions in any sport can be electric, but this was more Joe Bugner against James 'Bonecrusher' Smith w...

An interesting article related to the discussion from a Leinster perspective. "RUGBY: Leinster CEO Mick Dawson talks to GAVIN CUMISKEY about the need to dissuade schools from seeking partnership deals with English clubs LEINSTER CHIEF executive Mick Dawson spoke yesterday of the need to dissuad...

Re: What if Ulster grounded?

True but I was thinking maybe landing the other side. It'll probably not be an issue but would be interested anyways. Has it ever happened in the past?

What if Ulster grounded?

It was well publicised last week leading up to Bath at Ravers, that if Ulster couldn't stage the match due to adverse weather conditions then a heavy fine would be imposed. What happens if Bath can stage the match but due to grounded flights Ulster are unable to reach Bath? Anybody know?

Re: Ulster NO 10

White Knight yeah I tend to agree with you that we do need to keep the IQ players coming through at the provinces. I unfortunately don't really know the strength coming through the ranks at 10 other than a little of what I have read about our own Jackson & McKinney. I would imagine if they are g...

Re: Ulster NO 10

Maybe a little off topic but ... if after the world cup a number of the top irish players move abroad, is it conceivable that the irfu will have to allow the provinces to sign niq players for the supposed untouchable positions such as outhalf to keep our provinces competitive in the HC? If the rumou...

Re: Ulster NO 10

The whole baby humph v NOC will go on forever and ever! I'm not going to throw my tuppence worth into that ring!! Has anybody watched much of Jackson or McKinney? I haven't had the chance as yet to see much of either but would be interested to hear if anyone thinks they are up to making the step up?...
